I've been a avid supporter of DA for something like 10 years now and in fact I've actually had 2 accounts before this one. So "there's a lot of history down that road..." My years on DA have culminated in thousands of pageviews and interest in my photography, all of which has been greatly appreciated. One of my goals for 2013 is that I've decided to take my photography to the next level. I'm going to start doing weddings myself with the assistance of my girlfriend. Last weekend while shooting my Canon 5D's mirror fell off! Needless to say I almost had a stroke when it happened... :faint: I consulted the all knowing internet and it turned out to be a latent defect in all 5D's. There were many post in fact regarding other peoples' traumatic experiences. The good news was I sent it straight to Canon on Monday morning, they replaced the whole mirror assembly and send my 5D to Canon JHB for a free clean and service. Their service was great and I get a freshly serviced camera back in time for the holidays :) Very stoked... Air punch indeed... Even better than that was Canon DBN phoned this morning and told

I finally did it! I bought a Canon 5D, it was tough but finally bit the bullet and bought one. Just had the most awesome holiday in Cape Town for a week with the girlfriend. We went down to visit ~exoart (https://www.deviantart.com/exoart) . Thanks a million dude for having us and lending me your lens. Now I need to start buying some decent lenses. So happy I bought full frame :) Will upload some pics soon
